Welcome to Ross Art Studio
About the Studio
Ross Art Studio is owned by Malcolm & Maria Bradley who have strong connections with County Clare and after many years of planning, managed to fulfil a lifelong ambition to live and open an art studio on the Wild Atlantic Way. Most of the artwork is by Malcolm Bradley but we will be showing work from other artists from time to time. Although our Studio is not as large as some town centre galleries, it is uniquely set for the production & display of our art. In a relatively short space of time we have received visitors from all corners of the world as well as many from Ireland and especially our local community here on the Loop Head Peninsula. All are welcome to come in and browse or just enjoy the view.
The Home of
Ross Art Studio
Just 1.4 km from the Bridges of Ross
Ross Art Studio is set in the heart of the stunning and inspirational Loop Head Peninsula which forms part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, the longest unbroken coastal route in the world. The Studio has spectacular views over Loop Head with the Atlantic Ocean to the North, Loop Head Lighthouse to the West and the Shannon estuary to the South. Mount Brandon, which stands at 952 meters on the Dingle Peninsula is visible on a clear day. This setting is a major inspirational factor for the artwork produced at the studio. We see the whole of Loop Head as one giant art studio and our aim will always be to produce art in a sustainable way that sits comfortably within this exceptional environment
Whether you call in person or buy on line we want our artwork to be a connection back to its point of creation and reflect the ambiance of Loop Head and the Wild Atlantic Way. So no matter if you live in Ireland or half a world away, Ross Art Studio can provide artwork to remind you of home, a special holiday or maybe you just want something that looks great in your home or office.
Wild Atlantic Way
The Ocean is without doubt one of the strongest inspirational drivers for my Artwork. The colours revealed by the summer sunshine in breaking waves can rival anything a tropical beach has to offer. Stormy days provide a show that leaves most people with a sense of awe at the sheer power of the sea as gigantic waves roll in and break on the shoreline or crash against a cliff face throwing spray and foam hundreds of feet into the air.
Sarah uses local materials to craft striking pieces of jewellery. Materials such as Irish slate, Connemara marble and even locally sourced pebbles are married with silver chains or leather thongs to create unique pieces of Jewellery.
Claire Bradley &
Claire & Callum share an appreciation of the photo opportunities on offer along the Wild Atlantic Way. Claire's photography is much admired and has been featured by several news outlets
I started painting as a boy learning from my father and great uncle, both of whom were keen artists. I have a lifelong connection with the sea and so it's no surprise that we choose to live in a location with the Atlantic Ocean on three sides from which I draw much of my inspiration.
